John Paul Horn
John Paul (JP) Horn is Disability Services Coordinator in the Office of Student and Alumni Services at MGH Institute of Health Professions. He has worked professionally in the area of disability services for 6 years. JP most recently worked at Mount Ida College in the Office of Accessibility Services. His prior work includes hospital social work, university and high school social work, and community-based services for persons with disabilities.
JP received his BA in Liberal Studies from California State University-Bakersfield and his Master of Social Work from the University of Iowa. He is completing his dissertation for his PhD in Social Work with specialization in Higher Education at Boston University. His areas of academic expertise include first-generation and traditionally underrepresented students, former foster youth, practice ethics, and child welfare policy. Outside his professional and academic responsibilities, JP enjoys rugby, singing, and photography.
