Jessica Asiello, OTD, OTR/L
Jessica DeMarinis Asiello, OTD, OTR/L is an Instructor in the Department of Occupational Therapy in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, primarily for the newly developed online Post-Professional OTD program.
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science with honors in human development from Cornell University and a Master of Science and Post-professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Boston University.
Her clinical practice is in acute care at Massachusetts General Hospital, with specialty experience in the ICU setting. She continues to collaborate with colleagues at MGH on clinical and scholarly activities. She is the principal investigator for an ongoing project on the value of OT in functional and cognitive evaluation of left ventricular assist device (LVAD) candidates.
She has co-authored peer-reviewed and professional publications and has presented her research at the American Occupational Therapy Association National Conference, Massachusetts Association for Occupational Therapy Conference, and the AOTA/OTCAS Education Summit.
