Dr. Ahmed is a doctoral-prepared and ANCC boarded family nurse practitioner. A nationally recognized nurse leader and author, she has worked at world-class organizations including Massachusetts General Hospital, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and at Brigham and Women’s Hospital where she served in the capacity of Executive Director for Clinical Effectiveness, driving nursing quality and outcomes of care. A proven leader with an aptitude in working with and leading cross-functional teams, Stephanie is an independent consultant for the ANCC, as a MAGNET Appraiser and seeks to assist healthcare organizations to improve outcomes and enhance the patient experience of care through practice transformation. A Caritas Coach and Watson Caring Science Post-Doctoral Fellow, Ahmed is charismatic and brings passion to her work, reconnecting clinicians to their purpose and creating the infrastructure and resources to support them.
