Rebecca attended the IHP from 2008 to 2010. She has been a practicing SLP for nearly 13 years. She specializes in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders in the medical outpatient setting. She is presently living and working in western North Carolina. Rebecca has been teaching Phonetic Transcription with Tom Shull since 2017. While her primary interest is pediatric feeding, she also treats speech and language disorders across the child-life span and has a particular interest in Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She enjoys working in a multidisciplinary setting and is frequently engaging in co-treatment models with occupational and physical therapists. She also has a strong passion for mentoring new SLP's, and has taken on four clinical fellows to mentor in the last 4 years.
