Michael joined the Institute in April 2014. While pursuing his undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine, he was a team athletic trainer for division I and II sports programs. He later earned a Master's Degree in Health Science and Physician Assistant Studies from Quinnipiac University. Michael is currently enrolled in doctoral coursework in Health Care Administration.

Michael is Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and has been practicing medicine in the Boston area for over 20 years.

Michael's clinical interests are in Adult and Pediatric Urgent Care and Orthopedics. His academic interests are focused on improving and developing educational models and methods as they relate to physician assistant training and how to better support students regarding academic success.

Michael utilizes a team-based learning teaching method and fosters an inclusive class setting to allow all voices to be heard and supported.
