Why I became a fellow: The JEDI fellowship interested me because I wanted to find likeminded people who were interested and willing to learn about the marginalization of minority groups, especially in the healthcare field. Additionally, I wanted to support IHP students who felt like their JEDI needs aren't being met in their program.
Projects: Black Alumni Panel in February, integrating social justice competencies into the PT curriculum more seamlessly, and setting up meet and greets with students to learn how to better support their JEDI needs.
