Joyce Brady is a term lecturer for Abnormal Psychology and has clinical experience in psychiatric hospitals, public health settings, and private practice, specializing in psychological disorders resulting from chronic health conditions. She has received numerous teaching awards, including at the state level. Her published research is in the area of ornithine decarboxylase activity in cancer cells. Her academic publications include twelve college textbooks for psychology courses and for student success.
