The framework of the 3-month program considers three interrelated dimensions of leading: self, teams & systems. Throughout, participants will be exposed to leadership models and self-assessments, active dialogue about building effective teams, methods for creating a culture of change based on responsive/responsible communication and strategic thinking, and opportunities for application of learning through a community of learners and executive coaches. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of their individual leadership presence and skills and how those skills help to reframe the environment and engage others. A certificate of completion will be awarded at the end of the program.
The goals of the program are to:

Participant Feedback on Impact
- “I have renewed energy to focus on what brings joy to me at work and ideas on how I can bring that to others.”
- “The learning from this course has been transformational for me and the vision I have for authentic leadership.”
- “The combination of self-assessments and one on one coaching was really a soul-searching opportunity. You really need to know who you are on a deeper level in order to improve on your leadership. We simply do not know why we react the way we react. Increasing your self-awareness is the key to being more mindful as leader.”
- “We are already more collaborative. I have received amazing feedback about the changes people have seen in me.”
- “I hope our unit will function as a real team and I will utilize the skills I have learned to support the staff and provide a positive, happy, work environment.“
- “I have a better understanding of how I can influence and develop my team with the skills that I have learned.”
- “Bringing joy to work will improve employee satisfaction, which will improve employee engagement.”
- “I hope our unit will function as a real team and I will utilize the skills I have learned to support the staff and provide a positive, happy, work environment.“
- “Supportive and reflective. A great opportunity to build confidence as well as examine direction.”
- “Gave me a better trajectory for my future and help me refine my goals.”
- "Everything about the 1:1 coaching was extraordinary…Considered it an invaluable gift and energized me in a way I haven’t felt in some time with all the demands…truly remarkable, I first thought ‘how can someone who doesn’t even know me coach me?’ but realized the process of asking me questions was really what it was all about”
- “What was most helpful in the one-on-one coaching sessions was the coach's ability to provide non-bias and thought provoking feedback and challenge me to consider why and to be more curious. The coaching sessions really helped me grow both personally as well as professionally and gave permission to be vulnerable and honest.”
- “I love the community that has been built and the opportunity that has been provided to us to connect outside of the 4 month course to continue to grow our network. “
- "Prep work, ted talk videos, you tube videos, HBR and other articles (supported my learning); the format was great and knowing ahead of time was great. Having the Brightspace was helpful, adding the discussion board for sharing books, podcasts was a great resource. The breakout activities were great as they brought some thought provoking dialogue, I find this more effective in smaller groups.”
- "The communication and emails were fantastic and super helpful to keep us on track throughout the program! I liked the pre-work and the order of topics, starting with self-care. It had a good flow.”
