Eliza joined the MGH Institute in January 2016 in the role of Academic Support Counselor. Her responsibilities include coordinating, promoting, and facilitating academic support services for students in the School of Nursing. Eliza assists students with studying nursing academics, preparing for NCLEX, and improving clinical skills.
Eliza received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of New Hampshire and comes to the Institute from Massachusetts General Hospital. For the last five years, Eliza has been working as a staff nurse on 2 Ellison 11, the Cardiac Interventional Unit, where she takes care of patients with complex cardiac and medical conditions.
Eliza also served as the Co-chair of the Fall Prevention Collaborative Governance Committee at MGH – a multidisciplinary committee working to provide a safe environment for all patients guided by evidence-based practice.
