Dermot Lahey, ACNP-BC
Dermot is an instructor in the Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Nursing program at MGH Institute of Health Professions. He began as a term lecturer in 2015. He teaches Adult/Gerontology Acute Care theory as well as seminar.
Since 2012, he has been a full-time NP in the emergency department at Winchester Hospital. He sits on the ED's quality improvement committee, as well as the hospital's ethics committee.
Before working at Winchester Hospital, he had worked at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. His clinical experience pertains to emergency medicine and critical care. He has a specific interest in family presence during resuscitation.
