Community Health Center Panel

Wednesday, January 27, 2021 12:00 PM EST to Thursday, January 28, 2021 12:45 PM EST

Community health centers serve an important role in delivering primary care to vulnerable populations. Community Health Centers also provide crucial preventative and dental care, mental health care, substance use disorder treatments, and community-based services to those in need, regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay. In Massachusetts alone, 300 community health sites serve more than one million state residents. Now, during a global pandemic, community health centers are more important than ever.

Come learn about careers in community health with physician panelists from the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers on Wednesday, January 27, Noon–1:00 p.m., via Zoom. This event is sponsored by the HMS Center for Primary Care’s Student Leadership Committee (SLC), in partnership with the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers. Register.
