Antonia Makosky DNP, MSN, MPH, ANP-BC
Antonia Makosky, DNP, MSN, MPH, ANP-BC, is Assistant Professor and Track Co-Coordinator for the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care NP Specialty in the School of Nursing at MGH Institute of Health Professions.
She is a graduate of the Institute having received her MS and DNP degrees from the School of Nursing. She also received an MPH degree in Health Services from the Boston University School of Public Health.
She has extensive clinical experience as an adult NP in community clinic settings, and also in global health settings. Her primary care practice is located at Newton Wellesley Internists. She also worked for many years at Martha Eliot Health Center and Cambridge HealthCare for the Homeless.
She teaches in the Master of Science in Nursing and the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs. She received the Institute's Nancy T. Watts Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2016.
