Amanda Tarbet, MSLIS
As Assistant Director of Library Services, Amanda supports student learning, faculty teaching, and both student and faculty scholarship with her expertise in health information. Her own research interests include critical librarianship and user experience research and design.
Amanda is active in the IHP community. She serves on the Faculty Services Committee and chaired the first Institute Faculty Services Summit.
Amanda earned her BS in Biology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2007, and her MSLIS from Simmons College in 2012. She joined the Institute's Office of the Library and Instructional Design as a library assistant in 2012, and was promoted to reference librarian in 2013. Prior to working at the Institute, Amanda interned at the Boston College O'Neill Library.
