Climate change is a growing health concern, a threat to the health of individuals, families, communities, and populations worldwide.

The Center for Climate Change, Climate Justice, and Health at MGH Institute of Health Professions is a first-of-its-kind, nurse-led initiative to lead health care professionals in responding to the impact of climate change and to help further climate justice through education, research, and advocacy.

Our Center’s steering committee comprises ten nurse scholars with extensive work in health disparities and environmental factors of health. Our efforts will address mitigation, adaptation, and resilience through education, practice, research, and service related to the health effects of climate change.
