'Total Compensation' includes not only salary, but also additional benefits such as paid leave, insurance benefits, retirement plans, educational assistance programs and more. Just as an example, insurance benefits available for qualifying Institute employees include health, dental, vision, and life. The total compensation estimator provides current and prospective employees with an illustrated breakdown of their total compensation.

IHP also provides access to these voluntary employee-paid programs:

*Paid time-off benefits vary and depend on your employment category, years of service and FTE.

**After five years of service your earned time days increases to 34 days and after 20 years of service to 39 days.

***The additional Institute vacation days (winter break, Summer Fridays and Thanksgiving closing) are at the discretion of the President on an annual basis.
