Welcome to the Office of Career Services at MGH Institute of Health Professions. We are committed to helping students and alumni define their place of leadership in the world of health professions, ultimately leading to employment that allows for the integration of one's skills and talents into lives of meaning, purpose, and service.
We offer comprehensive resources and services to support students and alumni achieve their career goals, including:

- Live Chat with a career counselor for instant access
- Training for resume and cover-letter writing
- Teaching effective job search strategies
- Demonstrating successful interviewing techniques
- Conducting mock interviews
- Assisting with building an effective social media presence
Career Services staff are available for one hour advising sessions to work on individual needs and provide interview tips. Students and alumni have life-long, unlimited access. In our sessions, we can help clarify goals, evaluate application materials, and map out a job search plan of action that will yield results. Students are encouraged to begin working with a Career Counselor early in their program to ensure maximum effectiveness. Request an appointment.
Resumes & Cover Letters
Any student or alumni that needs to have their resume reviewed and meets with an IHP Career Services Staff will leave the meeting with a professionally-written resume and cover letter. Career Services Staff will also assist with future revisions as needed. This life-long access to a professional resume writer and career advisor is unique to the IHP and helps you stand out when applying for work.
Job Searching and Strategy
Our office regularly receives job postings from local and national employers. Students and alumni can access these postings via four sources:
